Baseball Bash

The baseball birthday party was a success! We had a good turnout and everyone seemed to have fun....Henry, especially. He enjoyed playing with his friends on the playground, swinging on a big boy swing, taking his turn at hitting off of the tee, opening his presents, and getting sung too. Once we finished "Happy Birthday" he asked for it "again". He was looking around at everyone singing at him and had a big smile on his face throughout the whole song and even managed to blow out one of the candles on his own (THAT wish will come true!). He's a big boy now!

Thanks to everyone that came and made his day extra special! He came home with a load of gifts that he should have fun with for days! I usually don't have trouble laying him down for a nap (I just sing to him and lay him down and don't hear a word), but today he fussed until I left the room because he didn't want to stop playing with his new Thomas track from the Beaches and his Little People Amusement Park from the Tuckers. He's slowly rotating through all of his new stuff and gets so excited to explore each new thing. At church today he kept asking to come "home", and I think it's because he had such good stuff waiting for him to play with here!

Here's a montage of some of the guests at eat and play...
Now we're off to conquer the terrible twos....
